A Homecoming Farewell

In two weeks exactly, Elizaebth will be sitting in Utah preparing for the coming day when she will enter the MTC. It's crazy to think how fast the time has gone. The preparations for her mission keep her busy, and each day, she gets even closer to serving the Lord full time.
On Sunday, we welcomed home my nephew Marty who served in the Buenos Aires, Argentina North mission. It was humbling to see how much he had grown to love the people he served as he gave away everything he had before returning home. It will be fun to hear the stories of his mission. I am glad that Elizabeth got to see her cousin briefly before she leaves.
Also, on Thursday, the family said goodbye to Elda. She will enter the MTC tomorrow to begin her training to serve the people in the Berlin, Germany mission. We have known her for more than four years, and it is amazing to see how she has grown into a spiritual giant. She will do wonderfully as she continues to serve the Lord with all her heart, might, mind and strength.
