Happy Monday! I hope your Monday has been relaxing and
adventurous. I know ours has been. Well, I don't know about the relaxing part,
but it sure has been adventurous. We were able to tour Estes Park, so Sister
Guymon can guarantee a visit before transfers, and so I can get one last trip
up before I head back to super flat Wisconsin. It was lots of fun. The scenery
is so beautiful up there and I am always grateful to see the beautiful Earth in
all her glory. I'm also super grateful for generous members who take time out
of their busy schedules to take us out to do fun things.
(I can't believe I am down to one week left in the field. It is crazy and I thought it would never come.) The work is going well here. We just had a new Bishop called for our ward which is crazy! Bishop Johnson got released and called into the Stake Presidency after only being Bishop for 2 1/2 years. Sister G and I were shocked. (Sister G leaned over to me yesterday during church and whispered, "I bet he gets called to be a mission president soon.") WHOA!!! But, I am super stoked to begin working with Bishop Jones. He is super gung ho about missionary work. And I just love him and his family tons. They are AWESOME!!!!! He'll be a great change for the ward.
We were also able to meet with the Schou's. They're so cool! I love them. They are doing well, and staying super busy. We didn't have a lot of time to teach them yesterday, so we shared the Mormon Message about the Bishop in England and his testimony of the Book of Mormon. (https://www.mormonchannel.org/watch/series/mormon-messages/a-book-of-mormon-story-1) It went really well. We commit them to read from the Book of Mormon every day this week and see if it helps make their week run smoother. I hope they really do it because I know it will make a huge difference for them. I love the Book of Mormon SOOOOOOOOOOOO much! #ScripturePower

What else happened this week? Oh! We had Zone Conference in
Louisville which is right outside of Boulder. Oh My Lanta! It is so pretty down
there. It reminds me a little bit of St. Paul Minnesota. GORGEOUS!
Anyways - The Zone Conference was really good. We talked a
lot about keeping the Sabbath Day Holy and making it a huge part of our lives.
We also focused on making the Sacrament a more sacred part of our worship
during the sabbath. It was a really good training!
I was also able to bear my final testimony as a missionary
to those serving in the Longmont and Boulder Zones. It was a sweet experience.
I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and all that it teaches me. I
am grateful to know that it has changed me into the person that I am today. I
know that Christ lives, and I know that he loves each one of us enough to
perform the ultimate sacrifice for each of us. I love the Book of Mormon with
all of my heart! I am blessed to know that God loves me and knows me by name.
And I am still learning this even now.
The work is good!
Love,
Sister Bryans
