Dear people who are either reading this in an email, on the blog or in the future four part novel that will be written based on said blog!
I'm still here...okay now that that is out of the way. This week was a week of miracles in both our area and our zone! We had a miracle a day and it would take way to much time to tell about all of them so I'll give a top three.
*number three:
We have been spending this week looking for members who haven't been to church in a long time just to check if they are still alive or if they moved or something like that. It was Tuesday and we hadn't found anyone and we needed to get home, but there was one man on our list that we needed to visit and with about 5 minutes to spare before we had to go home Elder Robinson decided to use the apple maps to find the guys house. The thing is though that the app almost never works for us but this one time when we needed it most it pulled through and we found him alive and well!
*number two:
We got lost on the way to an area that we wanted to street so we decided to work in the area we were in. We found nobody. Everyone was at the sports festival. So we decided to go home but on the way we ran into a guy that was way cool and totally interested in the gospel! We gave him a Book of Mormon and swapped phone numbers and then we kept going. But dose the miracle stop there? I say unto thee nay! We then found an old lady who had heard about the church and wanted to come but she forgot the address. So she just randomly stopped us and asked if we were missionaries when we said yes she asked for directions to the church, so we gave her a map and told her to come on Sunday.
*number one!
We had just had a training about doing lessons on the spot and we found this lady who was single with two sons. We asked her what was important to her and like any good mom she said her children and raising them well. Long story short we taught her about how God could help her raise her children and she was like 'I would do anything to get that kind of help! Please come again and teach me more.'
No time for a long send off!
I love you guys!
Elder Bryans
