It's been a while! I hope you're all doing very well! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Japan! As some of you know I was allowed to Skype home on Christmas and one of the many things I was told to do was to send more pictures, so here goes nothing.
This was a gift from an English student. As it says in the subject line it's the year of the monkey!
Last night we had a dinner appointment with the Kai family. I ate lots of new food that I had never seen or heard of before! What made it worse was Grandpa Kai was getting a little drunk so he kept saying,"Bryans, eat more!" so I got a little sick. Mr. Kai got out his guitar and sang for hours and had me sing "Country roads" by John Denver with him karaoke style! We had so much fun! Sorry no pictures. Umm yeah... that's all I got.
