This week has been the worst week of my mission. I got super sick on Tuesday and slept the whole day. Then on Wednesday we missed our bus to Kumamoto. We had to get there for a Mission conference with Elder Yamashta who was the mission president of Nagoya mission. So we thought about it and we decided that we would take the train to Fukuoka then go down on the next morning to Kumamoto and just barely make it. We ended up spending the night with the assistants to the mission president. The next morning they gave us tickets for the bullet train and sent us on our way.
That this where the above picture was taken. I was still sick. In fact I was still sick during the conference. So I got almost nothing out of it. My companion got lots from it though so that was good. The conference ran long so we had to go home on a different bus to get to Oita and then the next day we got home. The whole trip took 3 days and more than $200. The greatest and the worst adventure of my life.
Here's a map of where we went and how far they are from each other ( |-----| 10mi).
In other news I gave a talk in church about keeping the sabbath day holy. I had one day of health to prepare it and it was totally awesome! My Japanese felt weak but everyone said it was very well done. Speaking in Japanese is hard and the only reason I can do it is because of the grace of God.
Okay that's all for this week! Love you all!
