Dear everyone,
This is probably going to be a short boring email but here it goes.
So this week basically began with me and my companion walking home from a place called Shirohama, which is a 30min bike ride on a normal day but took an hour and a half on this occasion because of the rain. We found only two things out there. First was a hole in my bike tire. Which is why we needed to walk home. The second was a very nice woman named Michio who then agreed to meet with us on Wednesday.
So back to walking home, we decided to ask the map what the fastest rout home was. We had it set for walking and all that but it still told us to go over a mountain. So we did! 2 hours and 30 minutes later we got home wet, sweaty, and cold at about 8 o'clock. But we were happy! We had an appointment! But we still had to get out there again...
So Wednesday roles around and we go to our appointment and we decide that we need to know if the mountain path is faster than the main roads. We were just crawling up this thing! Huffing and puffing like two really out of shape missionaries. (I should probably do more cardio now that I think about it.) But then we reach the top and it flattens out and we can ride faster.

Then we hit the DOWN HILL STRETCH!!!! Well we were stupid and just went down. There were sticks, rocks, and holes all over this road! Not to mention we were going around 40mph and there could have been a car! Don't get me wrong it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooo much fun I wish I had a GoPro so I could have videoed it because I will never do it again. So stupid. So fun!
We had a music night at the church lots of fun. There was a local band that preformed for us called the Maki Maki's fun stuff!
Exciting news I finished my first journal! And even cooler is I NEVER missed a day! A record of the first year of my mission done! The second one starts TONIGHT!
I love you all and hope you enjoy the story. I'll be safer from now on!
