A Wondrous Miracle (A missionary moment brought to you by Elizabeth)

Hello missionary siblings,
How goes it?!
I have a story to tell y'all, and rather than write it twice in separate emails, I figured I'd share it to you together.
So, some back story: you both were told that I made it home to Wisconsin for three weeks and that while I was there I was able to go to girls camp. #myfavoritepartofgoinghome
Anyways, early in our camp adventures, I met a young woman from Barron. Her name is Cheyenne. She was a 4th year camper who had shown up late to camp. So mom and I drove her to the site where the other 4th years were because she had hurt her knee prior to camp. We hit it off almost immediately. She's similar to me: sassy and silly and friendly and adventurous etc. You get the idea. Anyways, I fell in love with her and knew that we would be the best of friends. #kindredspirits
Long story short, she gave me her Instagram and snap chat information and we've been in contact since camp ended.
😍
Well, I come to find out that she hasn't been baptized yet. #missionaryopportunity
Okay! Now here's the real story:
So today I was snap chat texting with her. And one of the fort messages she sent me was talking me that she had some church related questions for me. So she asked me a question about testimonies. And I wasn't really sure where the conversation would go so I pulled out my scriptures and notebook and started studying testimonies.
Well the topic changed a little bit and she began asking about what makes our church different from other ones and gave some examples: rosaries and sacrament wafers and different terms.
And then she asked me specifically, "What do you think is different/special about the gospel/church?"
So I thought about it and told her that  it was the unique doctrines that we teach and believe. And so she mentioned something about Joseph Smith and the Nephites.
And so I told her that definitely one of the unique things we believe is that prophets communicate with God. And so she said, "well, other churches believe that their pastors talk to God." And so I said that that was true but that most of them don't believe that God talks back. Ours does.
So she pondered over that and said  me, "then what do people think God does?! Do they think he just sits there?"
Me: "Some of them do. They don't understand that God is their father that we are his children and that he loves us."
Her: "That makes sense."
Me: "So I have a question for you: do you believe that God is your father; you are his child and he loves you?"
So she told me about her dad and how because he isn't a very big part of her life that she has to believe that God is her father and that he loves her.
#overjoyed #spiritgo #godisgood
So I wound this bit of information back to her question about testimonies and told her that she had just shared some of her's with me. She was excited! "I learned something!"
And so then I asked, "So what are you feeling and experiencing? Can you describe it?"
And so she did. And I was like: WHOA!! THE SPIRIT!! And I told her so.
You guys! It was amazing. I was privy to a miracle this afternoon. I got to teach and testify of God's love and relationship with each of us. And the Spirit was present!
So that is my miracle and story for you both.
I love you all.
