Dear friends and family,
I thought since Q doesn't get to do much he could bring
the email this week. So this week other than the regular grind of missionary
service it was fairly regular. We went to Taniyama and did lunch there at
sukiya which is a donburi restaurant. They have a challenge meal there called
the king size which is basically one pound of rice with a half pound of meat on
top of it. It looks like this:
we looked at the menu and did the math, it was a 2600 calorie meal. I had an entire day's worth of food in just 1 hour
fun times. Also along the food ones we had Takoyaki (fried octopus balls) this week that we made ourselves! We honestly didn't know what the heck we were doing!
but we had fun!
okay so we couldn't find octopus for cheep so we got squid legs instead. Still good! probably the last thing for this week. We've been prosaliteing around and this is what we've been seeing
yep! It's rice planting time in the wonderful land of the rising sun! Way fun. We havn't done any planting though. Sad... Well that's all I got for you this week! I love you all!
