Dear Loved ones,
I am excited to inform you that my iPad is now in the hands
of the Assistants. We called them this week and they gave greater detail of how
it was found. And since this story made me really happy, I'ma share it with
y'all. :) So after my iPad flew from the car it landed in the Dollar Store
parking lot, which is right across the street from the Kingsland building. A
man was walking to his car when he saw it and picked it up. He opened the cover
and the lock screens photo was of Jesus Christ (the 2nd coming photo) and with
that one look he knew it must belong to a church or something, so he took it
over to the church building and was met by a pair of Elders. I felt such
excitement and peace hearing this story because a goal of the FJM is to have
Celestial iPad's, in other words your iPad is a reflection of your call as a
missionary and your service to Him. =) So it was a good story.
Also this week I gave my very first Training at District
Meeting. It was awesome! I was so nervous it didn't help that the Sister
Training Leaders where there and last minute the Assistants showed up as well.
O.o But I said a prayer and let the spirit guide. I know I gave the training I
needed to give, and it was one I needed.
Oh funny story Sister Saxton and I were cars this week! We
did a car-fast Friday so we biked everywhere!! And at some (rather scary)
intersections the only way through it was to be a car. She was pretty nervous
but ho-hum we lived. It was living on the wild side for missionaries. ;)
And we have seen great miracles this week!!! Jason is
preparing for Baptism and we are setting a date this week. Also I found out he
is from Wisconsin, about an hour from home! Awesome! It was exciting, he is
really doing well. Came for all 3 hours Sunday and really loved it. Brother
Butler was a great fellow-shipper. He is my favorite! I love him <3
Another miracle this week was Paul. We met him last week
tracting, and came for a return appointment Saturday. We even were able to have
a member present! It was an amazing lesson. He is so prepared for the gospel.
He is going to be baptized soon, next appointment we are going to set a date
with him too. And I was so excited when he told us he had been praying to know
what the Lord wanted for him and then 3 days later we knocked on his door!
MIRACLE!! Literally my goal is to answer the prayers of someone everyday.
Also just to blow y'alls mind... Wednesday I have been out
as a servant of the Lord for 5 months. O.o Time sure does fly. Also this
Saturday is transfer call... I am both excited and nervous. I would love to
stay in Dunn Ave for one more transfer, but with Sister Saxton going home next
transfer anything could happen! Also we have a huge group of new missionaries
coming in and I am so excited! =D Young blood makes the mission stronger. <3
I love you all. I love being a missionary. I know this
church is true! I know God lives and Jesus is the Christ. I know that the Book
of Mormon is the word of God, it contains the fullness of the gospel of Christ.
He is what we need!!
All my love,
Sister Bryans
