Normandy 101

Hello loved ones,
Just another week in Normandy... everyday is an adventure, haha.
This week we had a tradeoff with the Fleming Island sisters, I was with Sister Hoffman and we stayed in their area. We worked very hard and we're able to see so many people, Sister Hoffman really works hard to follow any spiritual promptings she has. We discussed some of her struggles, and I offered her council to trust the Lord more and determine why she is choosing to be a missionary, because I know that made all the difference for me. We were able to work with their baptism date,  he is doing well and has the desire to be baptized. And as we taught we tried to address some of his concerns with church attendance. Sister Hoffman is a wonderful teacher, she is very knowledgeable and personable. It was a fun trade off and I just love Sister Hoffman. See photo 1

And Sister Tryon and Fotheringham were here. We all had good experiences and I love these sisters so much!! <3 see photo 2 it was so bright that some of us struggled to make a decent face haha.. struggle is real.

This week during weekly planning we decided it might be beneficial to Skype into the weekly planning of both Fleming Island and Oak Leaf. I really feel like it was an inspired decision, we learned so much as we observed and were able to council with them. It is going to be something we continue to apply because it worked. And was just a really good experience when we told President Lee about it he was so excited, haha. I seriously love him. This week we have interviews with him on Wednesday and I am so excited. He is like my favorite person, and I love being able to learn as we council together.
Dusty our investigator is doing so well. We have been able to work with him 3 days a week and he attended our scripture class Wednesday as well as church on Sunday.  It was amazing to see the members welcome him to church. He sat with a family and they went with him to gospel principles, I think it really improved his experience. Also on Sunday we were able to find 2 members to be at his lessons this week. I know it is opening the door for more miracles. We haven't set a date with him yet  but soon!!!
Also this week we went to Fleming Island district meeting afterwards we went to Tijuana flats and then we took a picture with a banana. See photo 3 (sorry it's so blurry, I don't know what happened)

Otherwise.... today we went to Dreamette ice cream today and YUM! See photo 4.

It is so yummy! And we had zone sisters pday, it was really fun. We ate French Toast, swapped cloths and just spent time together. It was nice (:
Anyways... I love you all do much! Y'all are always in my prayers. Xoxo
all my love, Sister Bryans
