Zone conference, birthday, Emergency transfer, best pday ever....Whew... what a week!!

Greetings all,

As you can see from the subject line this week has been one I'll never forget! So much crazy!! O.o
So here goes nothing!

Monday last ended with all the crazy I mentioned last week... we ended up going to the mission home with a pair of sisters who needed a ride. I love being an STL and being able to help sisters when they need me. So much love! 💖

Tuesday we did service and then went to the doctors for Sister Fotheringham. Found out that she has 2 gallstones! So they will have to do a surgery, but can't do that while she's a missionary. So Sister Cengiz and President will discuss then he will speak with her. We ended the appointment with ice cream at Jeremiah's which is an awesome ice cream and Italian ice place. YUM! See photo 1.

Wednesday we had zone conference. It was awesome!! Honestly it was the highlight of this week for me. I felt the spirit so strongly and I was so inspired by all that was taught. I loved President Lee's first training on repentance and the Gospel of Christ. I am humbled and touched by the great love he and Sister Lee have for us missionaries and his concern with out spiritual well-being. Honestly I am working everyday to better understand the atonement and repentance. I want to be really good at it by the time I go home. (: I loved sister Lee's training on obedience, I felt like it was inspired for us at this time. I think the greatest blessing of obedience is a happy and peaceful heart. It truly affects the spirit of your mission when you obey. The assistants training was also excellent and I am so excited to apply some of their different finding ideas. I was also impressed by the council to have the faith to find and the steps they outlined. I am going to work on that as well. Also it is president Lee's birthday this coming week on the 9th and so we made him a giant birthday card! Yay!! I love him soooooo much! Also Sister Fotheringham and I looked so cute we had to take a picture. See photo 2.

We ended up spending the majority of the day at the Jax South stake center so we could help some sisters who were going through a hard time, it was good. I got to chat with Sister Lee and I gave her a foot massage. She is literally the cutest. 💖 On the drive home we looked over as we crossed the Buckman and saw this. See photo 3.

 Haha only in the south!!

Thursday was my birthday and it was crazy!!! We got a text at 10 that said sister Fotheringham would be going home Friday morning at 9:30. O.o wow! It made life insane! We had to pack and say goodbye and then I found out my new companion would be my prior STL from Hendricks Sister Clay. And we finalized everything and at 8ish we were at the mission home for Sister Fotheringham to have her final interview. It was a whirlwind!! O.o and so much stress but we did it, with only a little exhaustion and drama. (; See photo 4

Oh and yes my birthday was DELIGHTFUL! We got a phone call from the Whitehouse sisters at 7 something and they sang me happy birthday. At 8:30 the zone leaders called and sang me happy birthday in Spanish, it was the cutest. I got many a text from sisters and elders in the zone and it was so sweet. In the middle of trying to get sister Fotheringham packed we got a knock at that door and found this! See photo 5. Yup our zone leaders are the best! And so thoughtful. They couldn't find me any just laffy-taffy so they got me a big bag of everything, haha. In the evening I came home to the cutest surprise ever! See photo 6.

I love my family!! I felt so much love and it made the hard day just a little easier. (:

Friday I spent my first full day with Sister clay! I love her!! See photo 7.

I am so excited to be her companion. And we got a phone call from the assistants and they also sang happy birthday, bless them!! It was nice. Then we went out to eat to celebrate my birthday because Sister Clay insisted. She's so sweet!

Saturday and Sunday were pretty dull by the rest of the weeks standard. On Saturday we went to a genealogy conference and did some finding it was awesome! I spoke with some many people, family history is definitely an awesome way to do missionary work. And Sunday we did our best to plan for our 2 trainings on Tuesday at zone meeting.

Today was had the best pday ever! But I'll send photos next week :) I love you all! Missions are the best! I am humbled by the love and trust of those around me. Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes and notes and gifts. I love you all to the moon and back.

All my love, Sister Bryans
