"FJM by revelation, Jax West by the Grace of God"

Hello loved ones!
What a week to look back on, is anyone a little surprised it's Monday AGAIN? Well I sure am. Time needs to take a break for a bit. Haha.
Monday was a good day. We went to good will and it was so fun, I got 2 new skirts and they are cute and much more functional for the Florida heat/bugs. We went to Whitehouse for a fun district pday and it was awesome. We learned a weird ball game... it was fun though. I was really tired by the time we left, haha. We had dinner with the Nhiev's and it was good. They are a great family and I'm learning a lot from them. We spent the rest of the night trying less active members it was good.
Tuesday we wet to the library so we could do some family history training on computer and I got my first Florida library card. FUN! And we were able to make some good contacts there too. BUT the problem was there wasn't any sound.. so we ended up meeting Brother Carroll and the TQ sisters at the ward so we could watch the videos from the training with sound. And we met Timmy the alligator pillow pet. He's adorable! :) The training took forever but it was very good! Then we ate dinner with a cute couple working in getting reactivated. They have twin girls and I love IT! Then we saw the Greens, it's slow going with them... but I really feel like they are trying to find answers. Well just keep praying!
Wednesday was zone conference! It was amazing! We learned all about family HISTORY! And now we have permission to do our own family history for 2 hours a week. Yay!! :D Honestly it was just a wonderful meeting because I got to see quite a few sisters who'd served in our zone and it was good. I loved them all! Afterward we went on a trade-off with the Jax south sister training leaders. Before we swapped I sat down and talked with President Lee. He is such an inspired man and so full of love. He knew exactly the council I needed and I love him! :) Also it rained buckets! And my feet were wet for days, haha. But I got to be with Sister hardy again and she's so amazing! We went out literally with the cutest sister. It was awesome!
Thursday sister Hardy and I ate lunch at pdq and it was pretty tasty. Then we traded back and I'm always happy to see Sister Tryon again. She's the bestest ever!! :) We were able to do weekly planning afterwards and it was great. Planning for the future helps us be prepared and it's wonderful. We also saw a recent convert and talked about the temple. She got so excited when  we talked about her being able to be sealed to her husband, it was wonderful. Then we ate dinner with our WML and the elders, good stuff. We ended the night trying a very less active sister and she's very confused on doctrine. But it was nice. Right before we went home we met the elders and Sister Tryon got a blessing because she was having a hard day.
Friday we had a trade-off with the Middleburg sisters. I was with Sister Spangler in Normandy and she's so amazing! We taught in unity and were able to find 2 new investigators. It was great. She's such a leader in the mission and it's incredible she's only been out for like 8 weeks. We just had such a  good time together and I love her!
Saturday we traded back and it was good. Our sisters are amazing and I love them so MUCH! We had some success i netting a referral and found the zone leaders a referral! Yeah. :) then we got a call from Maya she wanted us to come for a lesson. We began to discuss family history and them she opened up to us about her concerns and why she's been struggling so much. She has had some loved ones be killed and hurt recently and she just doesn't understand. She asked us why God let's bad things happen to good people? I have also struggled with this question... and we couldn't really give her a good answer. Instead we followed Christ's example and wept with her. We listen and loved and promised her hope and happiness ahead. But when we left I felt so heart broken because I wanted to know an answer! So I prayed about it, a lot and wept some more. But I didn't get an answer.. but I knew it would come!
Sunday morning we had church and I felt the spirit once again. We were pretty small though.. holiday weekend and all. :) We had an amazing miracle! We had an appointment and it canceled, I was a little put out because it was going to be a great lesson! And oddly I felt like we should still go. Thankfully Sister Tryon went along with my idea, and we went. We got there and tried them and they weren't home. So then we were reminded of a lady named Crystal who we'd met i netting the area and hadn't been able to really teach. So we went by and it was perfect! She let us come inside and we taught her, she's a single mother looking for a church because she felt something was missing at her last church. She has 5 children and they are so sweet they sat in for parts of the lesson. We followed pearls perfectly and it was like a lesson on the district! When we soft invited to baptism she answered with I need too. And said she would read and pray and attend church. She said the closing prayer and then we set 2 appointments! That was awesome and almost never happens! We also have 2 members who we felt would be good to bring by to those lessons. It was so awesome and I can really see her progressing in the gospel. It was an amazing end to the week. Then double miracles we were out visiting a less active sister with a member and she asked us this very question. I felt a bit overwhelmed and didn't know how to answer. So I let the member and Sister Tryon both give answers and I prayed mightily because I needed an answer and it came! I read to her first Nephi 11:16-17.
16 And he said unto me: Knowest thou the condescension of God?
17 And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.
And personalized it a little bit; "And he said unto me: Knowest thou why bad things happen to good people? Knowest thou why life is so hard? Knowest thou why there is so much suffering in the world? And I said, I know that He loveth his children, he loves me and you, nevertheless I do not know or understand the meaning of all things." And I felt the spirit so strongly. I know that was my answer and I felt very thankful that I was able to receive the answer I needed exactly when I needed it. I still don't understand all things, but I do know he lives and he loves me. And I'll just hold onto that for now.
All in all it was an amazing week! Miracles continue to abound in the FJM and I love being a missionary! (:
