Just another week in... Florida? 6/19/2017

Dearest Friends and Family!
Today had been an excellent day. We have been having a district pday and so we made breakfast and had a brunch and now we are watching 17 miracles. Such a good movie and so odd when it's being watched by a bunch of missionaries. Haha.
Monday last was a blast. Sister Tryon went and got a hair cut and then we went to the OP building and enjoyed the company of other missionaries. Such fun. We spent some time being STL's and trying to deal with the usual drama.. oh well. Then we went to dinner with the Nhiev's and it was fun. Our elders and the office elders were there, and boy oh boy was the food spicy! O.o Our night ended with us finding the one and miracles.
Tuesday was fun because we went to do service with Brother Carroll. I love him! Sadly Sister Tryon was trying to get the pretty thing and ended up cutting her finger :( so first aid was given and she's fine! Then we went to a few lessons and had 2 different members presents. It was awesome! During dinner we went to the Duling's and worked on zone t-shirts. They will be lovely when finished. Then we had a surprise lesson with Dusty, inspiration comes at all times and for this I am so grateful.
Wednesday we had interviews with President Lee. It was awesome! It took a while to get everyone interviewed so we ended up working in the family history lab to find some family names. And we looked at the relatives website from BYU. And turns out we are all related oddly enough it turns out Elder Hopkins and I are like 4th cousins or something. O.o So that was pretty neat. My interview with President went well. I love him so much!! He gave me a blessing and it was exactly what I needed. Honestly I am so grateful for the relationship I have with him. Mission presidents are the best! :) Afterwards we went to Steak and Shake and everyone got milkshakes.. except for me. Lol. But I do believe that milk was the culprit so being dairy free is worth it. We taught scripture class that night and then we went and saw a less active sister.
Thursday was weekly planning and it was excellent. Then we went on a tradeoff with the Whitehouse sisters. I was with Sister Yingling and we went to Whitehouse it was excellent. Sister Yingling is amazing and I love her!! We went out in the evening with the ward mission leaders wife. Miracles abound! That night I did actually eat dairy and it made me sick :( bummer. But sister Yingling is adorable and takes good care of me.
Friday we went and did district service. We did yard work in the pouring rain it was so fun!! Our district is a bunch of odd balls but I love it! We traded back after service and then we went home to dry off and go to a lesson. We met a less active family that had been  taught by Sister Tryon trainer and that was neat. Tender mercies are honestly a thing! Then we went to dinner and I was still sick so we ended up calling a million and half people before trying a refrain and finding a new investigator.
Saturday was a wet day! We went and did service in the AM at bread-line, I got a little sassy but oh well. Literally got hit on by like 5 different guys. We got drenched in the evening and had a blast! :) rain boots are life! And literally we are getting more rain than Seattle right now. Haha. We did a lot of finding and invited everyone to stake conference, no takers sadly. :\
Sunday was the best day! Miracles and tender mercies abound. We were able to find 2 new investigators and we talked with everyone. We had ward correlation and are doing another missionary musical number. Our elders are awesome! We went to dinner with the Miller's. And celebrated Taylor's birthday, she is the cutest 4 year old ever and I love this family so much! She told us about praying just with her daddy one night because her mom fell asleep. Aww! My heart! I am very hopefully that Tim will be baptized soon. It will be amazing! So for now we are just praying hard. Then we had many a phone call to make and finally got to bed. Sleep is my favorite part of Sunday.
The most important news! Next Sunday I will be back to Dunn ave to visit. The missionaries have been invited to perform at a genesis devotional! I am so excited and can't wait to see my favorite people. It made my heart so happy. The other important news is that Sister Tyron has a younger sister Rachel and her birthday is next Sunday  (June 25th) and it's the first one without Sister Tryon there. So if y'all could do us a huge favor and write a quick birthday card and send it to:
6636 146th Avenue NE
Redmond, WA 98052
That would be amazing! I know this will really make Rachel birthday the best one ever! :) thanks all!

I love you and I have such a testimony of this great work. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and he loves us. I know that even without understanding we can be reassured that there is purpose to all things. Sending loves and prayers!

  1. Sister Bryans, you are a beautiful lady! Thanks for the sweet message. We are sorry that you are allergic to dairy! Almond and coconut milk is good. There is also a dairy-free "butter" that is good. Keep up the great work! Love, Judy and Steve George
