*singing* It's Christmas time; it's Christmas time and snow is on the ground...

Hello Favorites,
Have I ever told you that I have many favorite people in this world? Especially here in Cheyenne, WY as a missionary. It is great!
Let me tell you about some of my favorites:
So I really love the Vuyk Family. They are a family of all boys except two, a mother and a sister. They are awesome! They are so spunky and have the wildest, craziest personalities ever. I love them.
I also really love the Cox Family. They are so cute! Did I tell you that he looks like Uncle Fester from the Addams Family? They are so easy going and love the gospel. They have a crazy 4 year old son who has the wildest imagination ever. It is awesome.
Who else are my favorites as of late? Oh, I really love the Clark Family. They are so awesome! They are both returned missionaries, and they have four girls. Woah! They are moving to Texas soon which makes me super sad.
And then there is the Ross Family. They have two girls in college (one is getting married) and a son. They are a really tall family. We had dinner with them yesterday, and it was so cool to see that families can be super connected. (The relationship their family has with each other reminds me of our family. I love it!)
I also love the Dobson Family. Their daughter just left on a mission. They are awesome! We just recently began teaching them from Preach My Gospel. They are kind of our guinea pigs to see how taking the council from Elder Ballard will roll out. I love it! Their oldest son JaCee is so wise. He will make an awesome missionary someday.
And my last favorite person is Sister Zvirzdin. She is the best companion ever!  We are always laughing at random things. And she just got a haircut. It is super cute. I now have the longest hair in our companionship.
There are many more favorites I promise, but these are the most recent ones in my brain.
I love our ward so much! I also love the youth in the church. They are all wise beyond their years. They will make a HUGE difference to the gospel if they are given the chance. It is so crucial to prepare well for Sunday lessons with them and also for Seminary lessons. If we can help them learn how to recognize the Spirit then Satan will have no power over them. I am so proud of the youth!!!! (Keep up the good work my young padawans )
This week has been super awesome! Sister Z and I went on an adventure for p-day last. We went to the Train Museum. I LOVE TRAINS! They had all sorts of awesome pictures and exhibits, so we took lots of pictures with them so I could show you.
They also have a wicked sweet model train. The entire thing except the engine was hand made. WOAH! I know right. It is the coolest thing ever.
Tuesday, we had an awesome lesson with Sister Cox. I truly could sit and talk with her for an eternity and never get bored. She is awesome! I love her so much. She has lots of questions and concerns, but she is so strong. She sets them aside, so she can focus on her family and help them grow in the gospel.
Then we had exchanges with the Sisters in the East Ridge ward.  I LOVE THEM!!! Hermana Wilson and Sister Fillmore are some of my other favorite people ever! I got to work in their area which was super nice. We taught tons of lessons. They have a lot of home bound elderly which is sad, but we are able to remind them of the Savior and his purpose for them which is great! I love their ward. It is the cutest ward ever. And they are really starting to jump on the train of missionary work. My three favorite people that we visited was a lady named Emily A. She is less active and has the cutest little girl ever. Emily is amazing! We had an awesome lesson with her about being a daughter of God. It was great! Then we visited with one of their investigators named Gina.  She is a southern bell from Alabama. She has the best accent ever. (I miss the South so much!) Anyways, she gave us some of the apple cinnamon coffee cake she made. She is soooo sweet! I love her. And the last favorite visit was the Greene family. They are another less active family, and they are so cool. The mom is a music major by study, but she works for a health something or another in WY. She is cool. She said she loved it, and it was totally stressful getting her degree because they demand the 6 hours of practice and with everything else you're studying, you can only do like 2. But yeah... We also met her daughter who is looking for work as a nurse. She is fun. She has an awesome sleeve tattoo, and she is buff. She used to be a volunteer firefighter and ran around from Arizona to Idaho fighting fires. She's legit!
Anyways....exchanges ended on Thursday evening.
Friday, Sister Z and I were able to do our weekly planning outside on the deck. I was freezing, so I had a sweatshirt on, and poor Sister Z burnt her legs and arms. Silly Seester!
We also made some awesome visits to people. We met one of our less active sisters named Renzie. She is so cool! She totally could be active again if 1) she had the support from her husband and 2) if the Word of Wisdom wasn't such a popular commandment to break. Thank Goodness for the Atonement! We want to see if her husband would be interested in learning about the gospel, but it is hard because he works ALL the time! He owns his own business and just merged and is building a new building, so everything is up in the air. Someday though - the Lord has his plans and nothing will get in the way of them.
Saturday was great! We went tracting in the morning. We met a guy named Ken S. He said we could come back and teach him tonight (Monday), so that is what we are going to do. We also met a lady named Liz. She also said we could come back and share an Easter Video with her. So we will do that Tuesday.
Our Goal this week is to have a member at every one of our lessons. I am excited! I learning to have great faith in the potential of the people in the Buffalo Ridge area of Cheyenne, WY and also in the Members of our ward.
Mom, your motto is true. INVITE, INVITE, INVITE! Everyone is a child of God, and everyone deserves the opportunity to hear the gospel. Don't be afraid to be bold and invite them. They will respect you more even if they decline the invitation.
I learned this from Sister Denna (a sister in the ward). She said that her sister would imagine all of the people she met in their temple whites. I love this counsel. And I am trying to apply it to my missionary work.
I love the gospel and I am excited to share it during this great season of Easter. The Savior Lives! And He will come again. I love the gospel. I love the Book of Mormon! I am grateful that we have a prophet leading and guiding this church today. I am grateful that a humble and uneducated 14 year old boy had enough faith to pray to his Heavenly Father and ask the questions of his heart. I am grateful that Heavenly Father knows each one of us individually. He will answer our prayers just as he answered Joseph Smith's. I am grateful for the Hope that comes through the Atonement of the Savior Jesus Christ. The Gospel is true, and everyone who diligently searches to know for themselves will find an answer.
I love you all! Stay Strong! and Hold to the Rod.
Love,
Sister Bryans
