This will probably be the shortest email yet.
There
has been a lot of drama this week and we passed Carly over to the Bison
Ridge Sister Missionaries to teach. A lot of miss-communication and
some mild offense was taken. Not very conducive to the Spirit at all,
but such is the life of a missionary. You learn to work through it, and
you try to grow and change from the experiences that you have.
I wanted to invite you all to read Elder Bednar's talk from the October 2014 Ensign. It is SOOOOOOO good. https://www.lds.org/ensign/2014/10/missionary-family-history-and-temple-work?lang=eng
It is probably one of the best talks I have ever read in my entire life. :D
I also wanted to invite you to read: The Everyday Missionary
by Clayton M. Christensen. Though I haven't read it, over and over the
past 3 weeks it has been talked about by various members and
missionaries in the area. It is a phenomenal book. And I know it can
help and bless your missionary efforts.
I am so
grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know it is true no matter
where you go in the world. I know that we can CHANGE when we use
Christ's Atonement in our lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is the
catalyst for that Change, for when we open it's pages, we can feel the
Spirit, and we learn how to apply the Atonement in our lives. I know
that we have a Father in Heaven who is mindful of each of us. He knows
us by name and he loves us individually. He wants us to be happy and to
succeed in this life. I am so grateful I am a missionary and have the
opportunity to serve God's children and teach them about the Change that
can take place in their lives.
I hope you all have a safe and productive week.
Remember
to think outside the box to find ways to share the gospel with your
friends and family members. And always remember that when we Invite
other to Come Unto Christ we Succeed.
I love you all.
Love,
Sister Bryans
