So did I tell
you that winter officially started? I'm going to die! I don't do well
in the snow. My fingers and toes are frozen, and my ears, cheeks and
nose are in serious danger of frostbite. I think I need to start
carrying around some baked potatoes to keep warm.
Sister
Bryans here! Broadcasting to you live from the winter wonderland of
Colorado. Bringing you Christmas Blessings and frozen limbs to boot.
This
last week was quite fantastic. I skyped home for the first time on my
mission and saw my brother for the last time in the flesh before he
leaves to serve the Lord in Japan. You go bro!!! #SHAREGOODNESS
We
had lots of really tasty and delicious food as well Sister Harris
though not as much nor as plenteous. I did get to make the deviled eggs
for the Robertson's Christmas dinner though. That was a lot of fun. =D
Hmm....what
other good, great and glorious things did we do this week? Haha! Oh! on
Saturday after we got dumped with snow, we were walking through the
park, and the playground just looked so tempting, so we did some Sister
Missionary sledding from the top of the highest slide right into the
snow. Sister Woods became Anna from Frozen. Remember when her skirt
freezes solid after she falls in the stream? Yup, Sister Woods skirt
froze in the back from where she slid into the snow. =D Totally worth
it!
Also, on Friday we went to buy Sister Woods some
new boots because her old ones were useless, and we ran into the
Brother of Elder Litster one of our old Assistants to the President. He
was with his wife visiting her family in the Nelson Farm ward. Anyways,
they were kind enough to pick us up and take us to the store and then to
our house. They're pretty great!
Thank you all for being great and helping me feel loved this Christmas.
I keep moving forward in my Book of Mormon reading. I'm in Alma right now. So many great Christ References. I love it!
Well, I think that's it for this week. LOVE YOU ALL!!!
