Once Upon a Sunny Colorado Day....

Hello Favorites,
How are you all today? I am doing SPAMTASTILICIOUS! (Yep, I just created my own word. And don't ask me what the word combination is because I really have no idea. Sorry.)
This week was AWESOME! We didn't accomplish much when it came to numbers, but we were able to make some good visits, feel the Spirit and have fun doing the work, and that's half of what makes being a missionary fun.
So, this week began with a three hour nap Tuesday morning. It was much needed. I promise. I don't take naps unless I feel like 1) I'm emotionally going to explode or 2) I am physically going to explode into a puddle of exhaustion or sickness. So I took a much needed nap. And it made me feel all better. And I was climbing back up to peak functioning performance.
The most exciting thing that happened Wednesday was cleaning the car in preparation for Zone Conference. We took it and got it washed and vacuumed and then we re-vacuumed it with the Merrill's vacuum which they let us borrow. Thursday morning, we washed out the inside of the car.
Thursday we had the most excellent Zone Conference I have had my entire mission. BOOM! I felt the Spirit. And that was the highlight of the conference. Actually there were many other conference highlights like: listening to everyone's musical talents. I even got to help with one. I was the Pianist for the missionary medley Saviour Redeemer by Nicole Skousen. The really cool thing was knowing that I had first seen the music Monday night at 8:00pm, and that using the sheet music I arranged an accompaniment to play with them while the group sang. It was an amazing feat considering the schedule of the modern Sister Missionary. HUZZAH! I felt much accomplished.
Friday we had two really good lessons with Dillon and Lisa. Lisa hopes to be able to come to church with us this Sunday, and Dillon will be getting baptized the weekend of General Conference. HAPPY DAY! It's so cool to keep reading and teaching and watching them to grow. I can really see how the Spirit is helping them to change and to succeed. It is awesome! (This is a gospel of Miracles! #sharegoodness #BecauseHeLives #thechurchistrue)
Saturday was PI day! HAPPY PI(3.1415) DAY! And we were able to experience an infinite number of miracles just as PI is an infinite number. It was blessed!
We received contact information for a golden referral and his family. He just walked into the stake center with his two kids and said, I want to learn about your church. (What I understand from the Sister who gave us the information: he and his wife have been looking for a christian church to raise their kids in and they picked ours.)
We were blessed to eat dinner at Noodles & Company because of Sister Mullen giving us $20 since we didn't have dinner that night.
We got to eat pie to celebrate pie day! I had a gluten free french silk and Sister Nolin had the rest of her lemon meringue from earlier in the week. They were absolutely DELICIOUS! OMNOM! #happypiday
Our Sabbath day was really good too. We got to go to church and partake of the sacrament. We got to learn about tithing, forgiveness and how to become more like the Savior. I felt the Spirit and I know the Lord loves and is mindful of each one of us as individuals. =D
I think the most fun part of our Sunday was visiting with Sister Peters to talk about the Plan of Salvation skit we're trying to put together for the ward talent show. I am SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!
I just LOVE everything, and I love all of you!
Because of Jesus Christ's Atonement all of this is possible. I know this is true. The miracles I have witnessed this week, the amazing people I have gotten to work with, the progress of Dillon and Lisa. I just love the Gospel SOOOOO much! #BecauseHeLives
Love Always,
Sister B.
