Hello to all!
The work continues to move forward... In South America.
Here it's just sorta moving. We don't know which way.
Last week was not very productive because I spent all my
time helping my companion Elder Bowler pack so he could go to Yamaguchi to be a
Zone Leader. Apparently this is the second time that a trainer was snatched up
and made into a ZL. He left Wednesday. My new companion is Elder Ogawa and he
only has two transfers left in his mission before he goes home. I may end up
being his last companion. Elder Ogawa is Japanese but he speaks English better
than I can so it's hard to think of him as anything but an American!
Speaking of the Land of the Free and the Home of the Me,
this weekend is the Fourth of July! Elder Bunker and I want to grill out with
steaks, burgers, the whole nine yards! But, unfortunately, we don't have money
for all that stuff. We'll probably just buy a watermelon and call that good. We
can't even do fireworks! But that's okay because we're already broke so adding
fireworks would be too much.
I'm
doing well but yesterday I had the strangest realization. I was walking down
the road with my companion and looked at a palm tree and I suddenly realized
I'm in Japan now! Wow!
Weeks
been good. We haven't had contact with Uehara since we contacted her but I'm
still not going to give up! We have lots of new investigators so I'm not sure
how they are. I placed 3 Book of Mormon s this week. With Elder Ogawa as my
companion it's starting to really improve I think.
Other
than my trainer transferring out not much in the way of adventures. I got all
your pictures thank you soooo much! Please keep them coming! Also I need a
favor, it's supper hot over here and I'm going to need to get two mure white
shirts so if you can move like $50.00 into my checking account I'd appreciate
it.
Well that's all I got for this week.
I love you all!
Welcome home Elizabeth! おつかれさま!
Elder Bryans
