Family Gone?!

Dear everyone!
It's August. And you're all probably in Utah or Montana or something like that. I hope you're all safe and all enjoying yourselves! I love you and I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures you're taking out there!
I hope you enjoy the things that I'm sending today in my group email! Tell everyone that I love them. Unless you're not there when you read this email then don't worry about it you probably did that anyways.
I have lots of pictures again and lots that happened this week so here we go.
So on Tuesday Elder Ogawa and I went to Tatsugo which is the next city over from Naze. It's a 45min bike ride from home through two tunnels the second tunnel is super old and covered in car exhaust as I came to find out.

Fortunately we found a new potential investigator there and the soot washed out! The man we met in Tatsugo was sooo nice he invited us in and gave us breadfruit juice and chippu-pan which is just sweet bread with chocolate chips in it. In the end we committed him to read the Book of Mormon which was awesome!
The Amami festival began on Friday night with a fireworks display that put the Fourth of July to shame! Some of the fireworks were so big that they echoed through the whole bay like thunder! I have pictures but the good ones are on my normal camera so I can't put them on my iPad. I'll try to send some next week, but until then here's a bad picture of the fireworks.
Then Saturday happened and things just went crazy! We went to Tatsugo again and Elder Ogawa and I got what is called Keihan for dinner. Keihan is the traditional food of Amami and is really good stuff! Here's a picture!
It's just rice soup and a whole bunch of mix in stuff and is really good! But then Elder Ogawa made me eat what's called Torisashi and I have a video of that which I'll send in a different email.
When we were on our way home I got a flat tire and had to barrow a bike pump from a less active member who lived right there where my tire went flat (coincidence I THINK NOT!). We shared a spiritual message with her and she's agreed to meat with us once a week so she can be comfortable at church. God works in mysterious ways!
Last thing, we saw a Habu get run over by five cars! It was disgusting! If I had a Habu catching stick I'd totally have caught it and got the $35 bounty for it, but we had no such thing so we just watched it till the end. It was so sad (´・_・`).

Well that's all for this email!
Love you all stay healthy and happy!
Elder Bryans
