Dear
everyone,
Today
is transfer calls and after the big surprise last time I don't think that
anyone is safe! So what more can I say about this week... Well, I didn't eat
any new weird foods; no deadly animals nor dangerous weather. So this week was
both nice and boring! We got two new solid investigators! The first lady
we met in her home and after giving a short lesson she agreed to meat with us
again. She even said she felt "a good feeling" when we talked to to
her! The second guy we talked to lives in Tatsugo and we actually found him by
calling the wrong number for an appointment. He said he had met the
missionaries before and he wanted to know more but we never went to Tatsugo
that often so he never got the second chance. We talked about the restoration
and about the Book of Mormon and he's actually agreed to be baptized next month!
I just hope I'm here to see it!
On a
more fun note last Saturday when Elder Ogawa and I went to Tatsugo, we stopped
at this restaurant that served all you can drink miki (miki by the way is a
drink here on the island that is made from mashed rice and sugar). That was all
I knew about this place. Turns out it's a tofu restaurant and look at all the
food we got for like $8!
And
all of it's tofu! I was in a state of shock about how good some of that stuff
tasted! So to sum up I didn't drink much miki.
Okay
just one more thing about food. Last Monday Elder Ogawa and I bought mangos.
Now I'm not sure if I'm freaking out about nothing but...
LOOK
AT THE SIZE OF THAT MANGO! And that's not even the biggest one we could have
bought!
Ummm
yep I think that covers everything! If I get the call early enough I'll send
another email to tell you if I stay or if I go and where.
Lots
of love for all of you!
Elder
Bryans
