This week was certainly a wild ride! We started the week with a Typhoon that we then did our P-day stuff in which also meant that our Family Home Evening activity was canceled.
Tuesday night we had our sports night that nobody came to, so Elder Ogawa and Elder DeLaPaz spent the night catching hermit crabs. Apparently the hermit crabs on Amami are super rare because they have purple claws. Cool stuff right? No? Okay.
Well on Friday Elder Ogawa and I went to the Amami Sunplaza Hotel for their all you can eat buffet! My stomach may be shrinking because I was only able to eat one platter of food before I was full. Man, the pineapple there was soooo good I could have just eaten that and it would have been worth it! Then I almost ate myself sick with mochi but it was so good too! Then got punked by these two kids who wouldn't leave us alone! One of them even closed the door on a lady we were contacting. So we walked them home and then we went home after contacting only three people for the whole day. We weren't completely lazy that day though. One of the less active members in the branch felt down because she thought that nobody cared about her. So Elder Ogawa and I made a "heart-attack" to give her. We wanted to do it fast so we put tape on everything first and then attached it to me for transport then attached them to her door. I felt like a love Ninja! She told us she loved it but her daughter was embarrassed by it so... Yeah.

Speaking of heart attacking Saturday, we had a CPR class at the church. I learned that the word for CPR in Japanese is Shinzo mesaji (heart massage). The EMT also said he wants to learn English so we may get the chance to see him again (we invited him to come to our English class). We then planed for the next day and we both wanted to kinda take it easy because it was Sunday. But I had the impression, and after praying about it he did too, that we needed to work a little extra that day.
Sunday came. We had President Iwamoto at a lesson with an investigator and now he's getting baptized on Saturday October third! Then we went and did some houses over by where we met those two kids and found another new investigator and five potentials! We didn't have enough Books of Mormon for everyone we talked to so we just gave out pamphlets. We worked so hard that day by the time we had our last contact I couldn't even think in English let alone teach a lesson in Japanese! God knows when and where his prepared children are and he'll guide us to them if we listen.
Today we went to the Habu center and saw all the live Habu that live in the basement. It was terrifying! We also got to see the Akamata snake too (the one that eats Habu).
Well that's it! I love you all stay safe!
