Dearest loved ones,
I am a silly goose but the Lord takes care of me anyway! So
story time:
I was trying to be very obedient Monday night because we had
Zone conference Tuesday. I was deleting photos on my iPad so it would be a
clean tidy MISSIONARY iPad. And it randomly turned off wouldn't turn back on..
:| I spoke with Elder Cenjiz at the Zone Conference and he called some people
and was able to get it back on. YAY! Then we went out to our car so we could
go, we were running a little late. But the District Leader came over to ask us
if we wanted supplies. (getting supplies it like celebrating Christmas it is
the best!! ;) lol) So as we were getting supplies I put my iPad on top of the
car and yup you guessed it we drove away. Mhm... when it rains it pours. We did
go back to the church in the hopes it would be in the parking lot... no luck.
:\ So we called the Assistants and they had the Zone Leaders shoot out a text
for Missionaries to keep an eye out. And we simply prayed for a Miracle!! Our
Miracle came Wednesday afternoon, around 5, the Assistants called and
apparently some guy found my iPad on the side of the road. He brought it back
to the Kingsland (GA) stake center and from there it got to the Elders and at
some point it's gonna get back to me. Sister Saxton commented that she thinks
sometimes the Lord sends the 3 Nephites to take care of His silly missionaries.
So yeah... #blessed #GodIsGood!
I
wanted to share just a few miracles from this week with you!!! They increased
the more we sacrificed and the more we focused on golden hours. By sacrifice I
mean biking!!! Yup we are slowly lowering our miles so we are ready for the
LARGE group of missionaries coming in next transfer. We are getting more
than we loose. So that's exciting.
The
first to share was from Sunday after church during a golden hour. We saw a YM
(20's) outside working so we went over and started a conversation. We asked him
a "did you know" question and it led right into a 3 min restoration.
We taught him and then asked to come back, he's traveling for a week but said
yes! Miracle. It was awesome to see the spirit work in him as we talked and
testified. #miracle
The
second Miracle is Michael! <3 <3 We've been working with him for a few
weeks. He's part of a part-member family. His wife is so sweet and very active.
She has a powerful testimony, when we first started working with him it was
more because he wanted to make her happy but at our last 2 appointments he's
asked real questions and he is really looking to know and understand. It is so
awesome!! Once he has a testimony and is ready he has nothing holding him from
being baptized. I know he'll get there!! They are the cutest couple and I love
them!! #miracle
Finally
church was a MIRACLE! We had 2 investigators there. The first was Jason, we've
been working with him for a few weeks. And he is awesome, looking for truth but
has some real questions and concerns about WHY God lets bad things happen. He
finally agreed to come to church Sunday and during the first talk something hit
him. He began to cry while the sister spoke and after sacrament meeting he
leaned over to me and said that he needed to be here today. The prompting I
felt was that he got the answer to his question and it was awesome!!! The
second was Steven. I met him with Sister Reusch last transfer trade-off. He has
never been taught we just exchanged phone numbers and he accepted a card and
said he'd come to church. Well he didn't and didn't seem interested so we
didn't push it. But Friday he contacted us with questions about church and then
Saturday we invited him and he said he'd come. Well he did!! He came for all three
hours and seemed to enjoy it. It was awesome!!! =D #miracle
Today
Sister Saxton and I went to Sweet Pete. #TheSweetestPlaceOnEarth! It is amazing
and like famous in Jacksonville. We did get some treats yum! But we also had
some really awesome gospel discussions. Love it!!
Anyways..
that was my week in a nutshell. :) I love being a missionary it's
the best decision I could've ever made. I love the Lord and the
best way I can show that love is by doing my best to serve him well.
All
my love,
Sister Bryans
