Greetings all!
This week was a blast, but also a blur. I have no idea
what to tell y'all.... haha I do wish to thank the YW from girls camp for the
cards and letters.
It was such a brightening addition to my day. (:
A few weeks highlights:
Saw some Christmas lights this week! Yay!! (: they were awesome. But it was sorta weird because no snow+Christmas lights=NOT Christmas. Haha but oh well. It was fun anyway. And it made Sister Thomas and I excited. Also Sister Thomas has this weird Susan Boyle Christmas cd and it is all we listen too. Lol. I love Christmas 🎄 🎅🏼 🎁 😁
Also this week we had a mission tour and stake conference. Elder Edwardo Gavarrret came. And i was cold called way to many times. Haha they asked me to give a mini-talk right at the start of the meeting and then i was asked to stay late and have an interview with Elder Gaverret, it was neat. He's pretty awesome!! Read his talk from Oct 2014 titled "Yes, Lord, I will follow thee." It is pretty amazing. And he gave it in his native language Spanish. (BTW shout out to my awesome cousin Spencer for getting his Mission Call to St George UT Spanish speaking!!!! You are going to do amazing things! And I love you!!) Anyway meeting him was pretty awesome! At the stake conference he gave three invitations I'd like to pass on to y'all.
1. Think of someone you owe thanks, someone who has done something important for you and it's really meant a lot, and thank them!
2. Think of a LA you can invite back to church. Remember that "often the heavenly virtue of patience is required." (Pres. Monson) But don't ever give up!! You never know when they will be prepared.
3. Think of someone you know and love who you can invite to listen and learn from the missionaries. Maybe give them a Book of Mormon or invite them to church or an activity. Then offer to share more. "Success isn't measured by their acceptance but by you offering, every time you invite you succeed." (Preach My Gospel)
I love you all! Have a blessed week!! Xoxoxo
All my love, Sister Bryans
