Hello
dear loved ones!
This
week is a picture version of our adventures.
But
first throw back to last week! Sunday night I mentioned us doing service for a
LA sister, here's the photos!
Aren't we just the cutest?!? 😜 It was really a blast!
And she was so cute, we are hopefully going back
to see her soon. And help her paint her bathroom.
Sister
Thomas and I met our district for Pday and took photos in front of the
friendship fountain. It was pretty, reminded me of my adventures with Sister
Bolos, my trainer. 😊
District
sisters! It was so much fun 😆
After photos at the
fountain we rode the sky train and went to Sweet Petes. It was a blast! I love
my district so much.
was
the pretty artistic wall. I thought it was funny that my shirt matched. Haha.
Also I bought some new pants today. Couldn't do Pday in my paint pants. Lol.
Sadly that's the last of
my photos. Haha. Try to get more next week.
One of the highlights of the week
was our scripture class. We do it on Wednesday nights and have had 2
investigators there each week along with a few LA's. This week Sister Thomas
and I were able to teach. It was amazing! The spirit was felt and everyone was
edified. We had everyone write their testimony in the Book of Mormon and
invited them to hand it out to someone by or before Christmas. Then we left
time for a brief Q&A. One of the elders investigators Brother Smith asked a
really good question about priesthood and keys which we answered pretty simply.
And then he shared his concern about not being able to live by blind faith and
needing to have evidence. So Elder Loder answered and then Sister Thomas and I
answered and then our investigator Josh answered. He bore a simple testimony
and expressed the need to experiment. It was so awesome!
Josh is so amazing.
He has such a testimony of the gospel and is so excited for this adventure. He
actually bore his testimony at church Sunday, it was so simple yet so powerful.
He testified of Gods love and the through living the gospel we feel His love.
It was so spiritual. I was grateful for his testimony. He does have a baptism
date of November 19th. We will know times later but it will be at the Dunn Ave
building. We had a really good discussion with him and his parents. They are
pretty supportive, but a little concerned with how fast he is going. But we
were able to address quite a few concerns. It was good. And I think it helped
build unity in his family and trust with us. Thankfully we now are more aware
of their feelings and concerns.
I love you all. I am so
thankful to be in Dunn Ave still. It is one of my favorite places ever!!! I
love the priesthood and I am so thankful for awesome priesthood holders. They
are amazing and I have been blessed with some of the best Elders ever! I love
y'all 😘
All
my love, Sister Bryans
