Happy New Year!!! 1/2/2017
New Years was a pretty rough day. We naturally
had church and all those other good things. But the night before was the
hardest because Japanese people really celebrate New Years Eve. And we were out
proselytizing for the whole night. It was a long night of rejections fallowed
by a feeling of not accomplishing anything. We're still hanging on though! The
Lord has prepared people for us to teach out here, we just need to be stubborn
enough to find them! New Years is still the same as in America just a lot
bigger than anywhere in America. We still had fun though. A member took us to a
fancy hotel for all you can eat and it's apparently based off of Dutch
architecture. So I went to Holland for a day!
Then today we took a trip out to Nagasaki's
Chinatown and had some fun there... So I visited China
today.
Then we hit up this place called Glover Gardens
which was western style homes with a slight Japanese influence but the ambiance
was totally the British islands... So I went to Ireland today too. It was a
very eventful day! And it's still not over! Our recent converts,Justin and
Allison, are going to the temple on this coming Saturday for baptisms. We're
planing on going too! There's not too much more to say other than it was the
best thing ever to see you on Christmas! I love you all!
