Hello friends!
This week was incredible!!!
Monday... I sent Sister Clay home. :( She left early in the
morning and I got sister Armstrong to be my companion for a few days. She is
the best ever! We had so much fun together and saw so many miracles. Photo 1.
In the evening we were able to go out and work. It was so good! We also were
able to go to a frozen yogurt for a special treat before going home.
Tuesday... was such a busy day. We started by going to
Normandy's district meeting but only could stay for half of it. It was awesome
though and I brought brownies. Then we rushed off to Fleming Island so we could
join them for a testimony meeting. It was so powerful! I really felt the
spirit. Each of us spoke of the Savior and I felt so blessed to serve with so
many powerful missionaries. Then we took and you District photo. Photo 2.
Then
we had some brake problems.. so we dropped our car off at the shop. And walked
the mile and a half to get back to the Church. We did some work there and then
any 6:30 speed walked back to the car shop to pick up our car before 7. It easy
crazy and afterwards I was so tired. We did get to go out and work anyway and
had an awesome lesson. I got a blessing that night from the Elders because I'd
over done it and was hurting. But I got some good rest, so all is well.
Wednesday was Transfers! I have loved getting Sister
Tryon as my new companion. She is so great and I have really felt the spirit
confirm to me that she is supposed to be my companion. She went home early and
is now back because she had to have some emergency abdominal surgery. It was
really crazy! But I am so grateful because she really understands how I am
feeling. We have gotten so close in the past week. I am so thankful we are
companions! We spent a lot of the day resting because I was hurting, but we got
out in the evening and it was good to work.
Thursday... we had weekly planning and it was excellent.
Then we went and did some service at Teacher Depot. It was so good. We had some
time to make Easter baskets to decorate for the sisters. It was fun! In the
evening we went to dinner at the Duling's. And then went back and worked for at
bit and found an amazing new investigator! He lived right across from the
church and it was such a perfect last minute miracle!!
Friday... I had a follow up appointment for my surgery and
we went with Sister Cengiz and had lunch beforehand, I seriously love her! Then
at 3:45 we went to dinner with a member. It was really nice. And then we went
out and did some finding. Working and resting as needed so I didn't over do it.
Saturday... We had a really good companion inventory over a
milkshake moment. I felt the spirit as we shared our goals and spoke openly
with one another. I know this transfer is going to be AMAZING because we are
already equally yoked and have very similar goals and ideas. Photo 3.
We also
rested in the car, it was the best ever! Photo 4.
Sunday... we really enjoyed church and it was the best! I
felt the spirit and I loved it. Then we went and taught a lady named Missouri,
she was so prepared! She had some friends who converted to our faith and she'd
really noticed a change in them. She also was new to the area is very humble
and is looking for something more. She had such an open heart to the message we
shared with her and it was incredible! I truly have a testimony of planting
seeds because someday they will grow.
Honestly this week was so good! I am so grateful to be a
missionary!! I love and adore each of you! Have a wonderful week. Oh and
remember to check out the Mormon.org #PrinceofPeace video. You will be so
blessed as you act! Xoxo
all my love, Sister Bryans
P.s. bonus photo! Sister Tryon and I are the same person! I
love her!!!
