This was an incredible week, and honestly I don't remember most of it. ;) haha. However I do know that our week was chalked full of miracles.
The ultimate miracle this week has been the progress of our investigator Judy. She is doing so wonderful. We had a lesson with her on Tuesday all about church, we used the church tour app and she really enjoyed the videos. It also was a perfect transition for us to teach about the sacrament and then baptism and the covenants we make. It was very powerful. She is literally the cutest lady and I love her! Then when we saw her on Saturday we taught her the plan of salvation. Once again Sister Harrison came with us and it was adorable! They are literally like best friends. Sister Harrison shared her experience searching for the truth and the peace of being cleansed from sin. Right afterwards Sister Beecher invited her to baptism and it was one of the most spiritual moments of my mission! She accepted by saying, "I will"and all of us were in tears. She spoke of her great desire to follow Jesus and her excitement at being able to begin to be cleansed starting with taking the sacrament on Sunday. It was wonderful! We will be setting a date with her at our next lesson. And she did attend church! It was so excellent. She was welcomed with open arms by the ward. The sacrament talks were about trusting and following God and the Book of Mormon. And the other lessons were on sacrifice and service so it was a perfect meeting for her to attend. She is so solid and has such a deep desire, it's clear that she has been well prepared for the gospel. I just feel so blessed that the Lord trusted her to us. :D So much love!
This week we had zone conference on Wednesday and it was beyond incredible! I am so grateful for zone conferences they are so beautiful to me to learn, grow and find ways to improve. Each training was so inspired! I think my favorite training was Sister Lee's. She really is so powerful! She trained on having the faith to baptize every month. And to develop that faith we must start with our prayers. She talked about Alma 31:34-35 when Alma is praying before they go to try and bring the apostate people back into the gospel. This is what he says:
34 O Lord, wilt thou grant unto us that we may have success in bringing them again unto thee in Christ.
35 Behold, O Lord, their souls are precious, and many of them are our brethren; therefore, give unto us, O Lord, power and wisdom that we may bring these, our brethren, again unto thee.
So Sister Lee committed us to pray for: success, wisdom and power. Sister Beecher and I have been praying like crazy and we have had some amazing experiences. My favorite was on Thursday night. We had prayed and decided to go try a potential investigator and when he wasn't available to talk we decided to knock the street he lives on. The second house we knocked we met Chelsey who it turns out is an excommunicated member of the church who moved in about 2 days ago. Then we met her neighbor Randy who had read the Book of Mormon before and was willing to meet with us to learn more. And then we met Natasha who was so excited about familysearch.org it was adorable! She has been working on her family history and kinda hit a road block and loved the resources we offered her. It was an incredible night and it all started with praying in the morning about where to go and then praying for power, wisdom and success when we got to that area. Another experience came on Sunday night, we had prayed about which area to be in and again we went to try a few potentials. We met so many nice people who were prepared to hear our message. And we set 3 appointments for this coming week. It was amazing! Prayer works!! I really felt my faith in the power of prayer increase from these experiences. And because of it my prayers have also been improving a lot. I am realizing that when we pray he does hear us. More importantly if we pray in faith and specifically we will receive answers.
All in all this week was amazing. And I am too blessed to be stressed. ;) I love you all, I thank you for your prayers and your support. Know that I love you and I pray for you.
Photos!!!
1. My studies on Sunday. All that Christ is, his titles and names are defining features of WHO he is. I know he is the son of God. He loves and he loves us. For that knowledge I am so thankful and that is the knowledge I want to share with others everyday!
2. After zone conference we stopped at a gas station and bought some hot boiled peanuts. They are so good it hurts! Yum!! :)
3. All prayers are answered, and there's no shame in using a porta-potty. Lol
4. These are my favorite walls in Florida. Shell and stucco, so pretty.
5. We made a smoothie and got to drink them in our fancy glasses.
6. Rainbow
7. On Tuesday we got caught in the rain and an adorable mother and daughter from Bangladesh who were Muslim let us in. They were so friendly! They gave us Tim-tams and send us home with powdered coffee? So much love for them!
8. Last week we got frozen hot chocolate... hope that wasn't a repeat... I really don't remember.

Love, Sister Bryans

Dear Sister Bryans, Thanks again for your beautiful spirit and for the wonderful scriptures you quoted on reactivation! As you probably know, the Chippewa Falls Branch has been combined with the Eau Claire Ward. There are many good people who need to be "found". Thank you for your wonderful suggestions! You remain a spiritual role model for all of us! We love you! Judy and Steve George
