Blinded By the Light!

Hello to all the Good, Great, Grand and Wonderful people out there!
So it snowed 10 1/2 inches. That's a lot of snow. In fact, it was so much snow that the Cheyenne and Cheyenne East Stakes canceled church for the whole of everyone. And with the sun shining out there, that's a lot of bright blazing light penetrating my eyeballs. It's crazy!
The results of my shoveling service experiment are as follows: a sore knee, sore hands, sore shoulders, sore biceps, sore lower back and a headache. Plus: a smelly coat and soaked boots. It's awesome!
We have moved back into the other room again. (We had to move out temporarily so some of Sister Groesbeck's family could stay at the house. It was fun.)
This week has been uber intense. We did 12 hours of service which was awesome. I have never done so much service in my life (well sorta). We also got to work with Sister Metzger some of the week while her companion was sick in bed staying with a member. It was neat.
We had a fantastic Zone Meeting on Thursday. I really enjoyed it. President Brown came up for the meeting. I learned a ton. It was great! Plus the Spirit was super strong which enhanced my learning abilities even more.
(Can I just say that my body aches/is so tired that writing this email is a challenge?)
OOH!
I got to watch the May 2014 CES broadcast on Tuesday. It was so good, so I decided I'd share the link with you all so you may read and or watch it. https://www.lds.org/broadcasts/article/ces-devotionals/2014/01/be-still-and-know-that-i-am-god?lang=eng
Let me just say it is super duper good, and I am developing a love for a new favorite apostle.
Okay, time to get down to business. Y'all don't want to read a blab letter from me.
I got to try playing the organ on Wednesday. Let's just say I am not very good at simultaneously playing with my hands and feet, but playing with my feet is a lot of fun.
Okay, so I just reviewed my journal for the week, and this week was really boring. I am so sorry!
Oh look, my study journal...how convenient.
First going back to Stake Conference and the wonderful invitations given by Elder Payne. I wanted to invite y'all to ponder these invitations if you would be so kind.
Here they are: First, to those who are married: Husbands - go home and ask your wives this question: "If you died and were conversing beyond the veil with Heavenly Father and he asked you, 'How well did your husband treat you?' what would you say?" Second, to those who are member missionaries (aka all of you): Prayerfully consider how the work can be hastened! And third, to the rest of you (again that means all of you...!): Go to the Lord and find out what you can do to be more Chaste.
Now I will put a mini disclaimer on all of these invitations from Elder Payne...They were given to the Priesthood and re-shared during the adult session; therefore, they are really important!!
Also, always be worthy to have a temple recommend. Make sure it is current, and Go. Go to the temple often. If you can not hold a temple recommend for whatever reason, repent! Use the Atonement in your life, and decide now to always be worthy to have a temple recommend. And while you are preparing yourself and changing your life around, go to the temple often. Stand on the grounds. Feel the Spirit of the temple. The temple truly is the House of the Lord.
Finally from Zone Conference:
Obedience brings blessings. Exact Obedience brings Miracles! And also, Doctrine and Covenants 1 - read it, study it and ponder it.
Sorry this email is really vague and boring. I love you all!
Be Obedient, Hold to the Rod and Stay Safe
Love,
Sister Bryans
