When Your Home Explodes eat PANCAKES

Hello Boys and Girls! Welcome to another episode of your favorite missionary: Sister Bryans.
*Loud applause complete with whistling and cheering and laughing*
This week has been a week of wild and crazy adventures and delicious pancakes. For example: on Monday I made some raisin, orange, coconut, walnut, gluten free pancakes. Oh my DELICIOUS! I ate them almost every morning this week for breakfast along with some fruit.
And then yesterday because we didn't have a dinner I made a delicious curry and some gluten free, corn pancakes (my version of Naan). Again, absolutely delicious! I really like cooking. Don't ask me to bake though. I stink at it.
Anyways - so there is the why behind the pancakes.
Other than that, we have been busy with service. We serve at a Thrift Store, HOPE (a homeless outreach program) and Inn Between (a homeless halfway house). It's a lot of fun, and we do a variety of work. From sorting, folding and hanging clothes and other softline goods to imputing data into computer software. I like the work we do. Although, we rarely interact with more than just the paid employees. Oh well... I like them too.
We have also been trying to contact a lot of less active families. Wooh! Some answer their doors and some do not. Of those that answer their doors most of them don't have time or want us to visit with them. It's sad really. Although some do answer their doors and let us talk to them. Like Rachel. She and her three kids came to church on Sunday! WOOHOO! She went to the 9:00am church meetings, but she still came to church. HALLELUJAH! I was so stoked!
Also, our home really hasn't exploded, but we have had some pretty crazy nights recently. Sleeping over at the Bertheoud sister's house and not sleeping at all. It's been fun.
Other than that, I don't think that there is much to report.
I LOVE THE BOOK OF MORMON! I have been continuing on with our mission wide Book of Mormon reading challenge. And it has been AWESOME! I love it soooooo much! I am somewhere in the middle of 3rd Nephi reading of the Savior's visit to the Nephite's in the Americas. Oh My Goodness! It is so good to see the hand of God in all things! And to witness of Jesus Christ as he was recorded and taught to Lehi's descendants. It is a beautiful thing!
I hope you all are doing well. The weather outside is SUPER DELIGHTFUL! It is warm and sunny, and I just love it tons and tons! (Sorry to all suffering in the cold. I recommend praying for Global Warming. *giggle*)
I LOVE YOU ALL! Take care and have a great week.
LOVE
Sister Bryans
